Request or update reverse DNS
Choose a hostname for your assigned address and check the related forward DNS.
Prepare the hostname
Choose a hostname under a domain you control and configure its forward DNS to the intended address. Keep the exact address and hostname ready for the request.
Apply the supported change
Use the reverse-DNS control available for the service or contact support with the order reference. PTR management depends on the assigned address and service configuration.
Check the result
Allow for DNS caching and verify both directions after the change. Reverse DNS does not by itself authorise outbound mail; port 25 and acceptable-use conditions remain separate.
